Giacinto and Elia: it all started with their great-grandparents
I want to tell you our story, the story of two brothers in love with their own things and their land, Liguria, home of olive oil and the Taggiasca olive.
When we were children, we loved spending our day in the country with our great-grandfather Giacinto first and our grandmother Elia later... We used to help them with the small chores.
All this until the day they decided to leave everything to us.
As soon as we were teenagers, we also started to take care of our own oil production. Needless to say: drop by drop, we fell in love with it!
Today, we are married and fathers of four beautiful children. We now run the family farm following in the footsteps of our grandparents and fathers: people who, with perseverance, commitment and love, have passed on all their knowledge to us over the decades.
Our aim is to produce a healthy, tasty and brilliant oil. That knows how to transmit with its flavour the echo of a tradition that has been with us for generations and will never stop!
Our olives are processed using exclusively mechanical procedures.
We ensure that we obtain an oil that is as pure, good and healthy as possible and whose nutritional properties remain intact.
No chemicals. Just genuine goodness.
The oil we produce is slightly thick, green in colour and has a strong but not overpowering flavour.
Slightly spicy and with a hint of raw artichoke when young and fresh, it becomes golden in colour over time and its taste softens, taking on fruity notes.
